NFM3 Grant Cycle Ends: CCM/E The Holds Final Meeting
CCM/E holds 115th regular meeting and concludes NFM3 Grantat Inter Lexury hotel Addis Ababa
Her Excellency Mrs. Semereta Sewasew, State Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Chair of the CCM/E, welcomed members and alternates to the final meeting of the NFM3 grant cycle. She expressed CCM/E’s pride in the 98% absorption rate of the NFM3 grant by the PR and SRs. H.E. Mrs. Semereta emphasized the importance of maintaining this commitment during Grant Cycle 7 (GC 7) and urged PR to prioritize accelerating grant implementation in the first year. She also highlighted the need to finalize arrangements for engaging SRs and SSRs for each GC 7 grant.
The 115th CCM/E meeting focused on various topics, including:
- Oversight Committee Update: A review of the programmatic and financial performance of NFM3 during Period 12 (April-June 2024).
- CCM/E Governance Manual revision: Discussion and endorsement of the fourth version of CCM/E governance manual
- Performance Evaluation: Presentation on the CCM/E and secretariat’s performance and feedback session.
Participants engaged in productive discussions on each agenda item. The CCM/E governance manual was endorsed as a working document for the upcoming GC 7 grant cycle.
