23rd Oversight Committee Meeting: November 28th, 2024 at Ellilly International Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

On Thursday, November 28, 2024, the CCM/E Oversight Committee gathered for their 24th meeting at the Elilly International Hotel in Addis Ababa. The day-long session focused on the performance and challenges of all grants supported by the Global Fund. Representatives from different organizations, including CCM/E Oversight Committee members, PRs’ Program, M&E, PSM, and Finance Focal points, Federal Level Implementing Entities, as well as the CCM/E Secretariat staff, were present.

A summary presentation on GC 7 first quarter for each grant was presented by Mr. Abayneh Admas, the CCM/E Oversight and Compliance Officer, focusing on the PR dashboard on TB, HIV, Malaria, RSSH, and C19RM grants’ summary findings. Following that, a progress update on the procurement of pharmaceuticals and health products status by EPSS was presented. Grant leaders and participants discussed the challenges for both programmatic and financial performance of the first quarter of GC 7 grant implementations.
