CCM/E Conducts Onboarding Orientation for New Members and Alternates
The CCM/E Secretariat successfully organized a virtual onboarding orientation session for its new members and alternates on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The session aimed to familiarize the participants with essential aspects of the Global Fund (GF), CCM/E operations, and their roles and responsibilities within the organization.
Key topics of discussion included an overview of the Global Fund and CCM/E, the allocation of grants to countries, the basic composition of the CCM/E, governance documents, and the Conflict of Interest (COI) Management Policy. The session also covered the four codes of ethical conduct and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) policy. The session featured valuable contributions from colleagues at the Global Fund Ethics Office, who presented detailed slides to enhance participants’ understanding of the governance and ethical standards expected within CCM/E. This onboarding orientation provided the new members and alternates with a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities, setting the foundation for their effective contribution to the CCM/E’s mission of combating HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria in Ethiopia.
